What are some decent furniture retailers in london?

I can’t count how many times I’ve looked through the IKEA website!

I would appreciate some good suggestions about other retailers I could look at that supply home Furniture that isn’t the cheapest nor the most expensive, and isn’t likely to break down in a few years.
(Not John Lewis or Deben-something)
Actually that depends whether it’s a coat hanger or a bed i’m buying. But overall, just good places (preferably with a website) that sell furniture worth the money.

Thanks!!!

What is the best home theatre speaker system?

Can anyone help me. I want to buy a Home Theatre speaker system that gives the best sound quality.

I don’t think you mean the absolute best. However what sound you get is dependent on your budget.

A good entry level system can run a few hundred to a couple of thousand dollars.

High end systems can easily reach several hundred thousand.

So really you need to be more specific in your application, budget, expectations,etc.. to really get a good idea of what to get.

What careers would be good for finance/accounting and criminal justice?

I took a career interest test and I was a 100 percent match for finance/accounting and criminal justice. All other careers were 75% or less. This seems to be right for me. Now my question is which Careers in these fields would be a great choice, as far as pay, job demand, and schooling? I am 28 years old and have 2 children if this helps and i am enrolled in a community college. Thank you for your help.

Certified Fraud Examiner , it is an accounting career that is involved in fighting fraud and other financial crime. You could work in many criminal justice fields higher up, you need a accounting backgroud and education.

What reputable health insurance companies are out there?

My mom doesn’t have health insurance and my job doesn’t give insurance to family members.

I would like to pay monthly to a health insurance company so my mom could get health check up when she needs it.

Do you know any Health insurance companies that can accept low monthly payments since I don’t get paid that much?
We live in northern california.

Well, if she’s 40 and perfectly healthy, it’s going to cost her about $500 a month to have a low/no deductible plan that covers checkups.

You BUY it on a month to month basis. If you want low monthly payments, you have to cut the coverage – like take a $10,000 deductible. Or higher. That would cut payments down to maybe $200 a month or less.

The older she is, the less healthy she is, the more it costs.

Your best bet, is to find a local, independent agent, who can help you balance cost with coverage.

What percentage of girls who start dieting at 13 get eating disorders?

I know a girl who has been Dieting since she was 13 and still is (she’s probably around 15 now). What are the chances of her getting an eating disorder? I’ve heard that like 86% of girls who diet at that age end up with one, is that true? What statistics do you have/know? I really would like to warn her parents, especially since they see nothing wrong with her behavior. I’m not sure if she’s throwing up in a bathroom or anything like that, but she definately is watching what she is eating, eating foods marked "low carb", keeping track of how many pounds she has lost, and exercises for the benefit of weight loss. Also looks like she could use a vitamin if you know what I mean..
Thanks to all who help.

i’ve been dieting for a year and a half (since 13 1/2) and i dont have a disorder, maybe shes just trying to be Healthy. talk to her before her parents. there could be something going on at home, eating is a bout self control, maybe if shes lost something she thinks regaining the ability to choose what she eats can bring things back into focus and get stability.
hope i helped

What books can you recommend on internet marketing?

I need to promote my online business, therefore I’m learning about internet marketing. Any good books or websites out there?

Hi,

About the web sites, I recommend http://insidemarketing.blogspot.com — it’s a blog full of useful info on Internet marketing and it’s growing very rapidly. Information is very solid and up to date.

Another excellent resource is the Warrior forum:

There are very few really good Internet marketing books out there.
One of the most recent I can recommend is Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly marketing manuscript. It’s 125 pages of pure Internet marketing genius and you won’t find this info anywhere else:

It will no doubt open your mind like nothing else. And unlike almost every other Internet Marketing ebook out there this one was really written by the author himself and he is a true master of Internet marketing.

On copywriting (writing effective sales letters), Maria Veloso’s "Web Copy That Sells" is by far the best, hands down.
You can get it at Amazon for about $15:

Have a great time!

Is it possible to become a millionaire by investing into green energy and biotechnology stocks?

I’m 17 now, and after the global recession there is said to be a massive green energy and biotechnology boom which is supposed to be creating several multibillionaires and billionaires, and many, many multimillionaires and many, many, many millionaires. I should have saved up £25,000 made on eBay by then. Is it possible that I could use this money to invest into stocks in these sectors and at least become a millionaire?

Brilliant insight William. I am currently 18. The stock market has changed my financial life. I have prepared for a Green Energy boom. Now that the people have influenced Obama to spend mass amounts in green energy, this will definitely make ti a major industry, but when? I am not only looking at companies that make hybrid vehicles or solar panels, I have invested in technology companies devoted to create energy efficient products. Last October I placed an order for a plethora of green stocks totaling around 2,600 USD (commisions included) Now its teetering at 3,200 USD. It seems like a modest gain, but in the future they will explode, I am expecting to add a digit to my initial investment. 26,000. and with that, invest more and more. I have done this with before with technological booms in the past. The stock market has profited me over 50k USD. But i’m no day trader, I hold my stocks when they are weak. check out Scottrade.com. NO inactivity fees like everyone else! hold as logn as you like, dont pay 50 dollars every 3 months for not trading! Also, very cheap commissions.
So sign up, and during the signup process enter my info for 3 free trades.

What is the most important question you have about hosting a high school foreign exchange student?

I am very familiar with hosting agencies and ask that agencies or any area coordinator, area representative, or local coordinator will not reply to this question. I am asking this question from the point of view of a potential host family, host parent, host sister, or host brother with no Hosting experience.
I would like to open this to former host families.

The most important question I usually want to know of the students we host is "Why are you doing the exchange?" Other important questions (in no particular order):
- What (specific or general terms) do you expect of us, as host parents? For example, do you expect that we will take trips to (insert names of tourist spots near to where we live) at least once a month while you are here? Do you expect that we will be strict? Do you expect us to have the same level of trust in you that your parents have? Do you expect us to help you with your homework for one hour every night? Etc.
- What personal adjustments do you expect to make and how can we help to make those happen?
- What’s your favorite kind of food? What foods do you absolutely hate?
- What do you do in a typical day? How about on weekends?
- What is your family like (mother, father, siblings, personalities, habits, etc.)?
- What kind of ‘living situations’ have you lived in? For example, living in a small apartment in a big city where you walk to school (less than 15min away) and the mall (less than 15min away), living on a farm in the country where you take a bus for 30+min to school and your grandparents live with you as well, etc.
- Have you ever been away from your family for a significant amount of time (eg. visiting a friend who has moved away for a month)?
- What are you hobbies?
- What is your favorite family tradition?
- Can you trust us to do what’s in the best interest of you?
- Can you ask for help when faced with difficulties?
- How do you show ‘good’ and ‘bad’ emotions?
The list is endless, but the reasons for doing the exchange are the most important thing – if you’re heart isn’t into the experience, nothing else matters.

What jobs are out there that work directly with pets?

I know that there is a vet, but I am worried I am not smart enough considering it is so competitive. Also I know there is an animal behaviorist, but what exactly do they do? How much do they get paid? Where do they work? How much school and what schooling? And do they work directly with pets? I love Pets, I am always wanting pet after pet. Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, lizards, anything pets are so cool and I want a job that deals with them. I also want to be making decent money, where I can support a family.

you can…
be a…
vet
groomer
trainer
animal sitter
cage cleaner
(some people will actually pay for) an animal entertainer
a fitness (animal) trainer… you’d b surprised!
a photographer that specializes in animals
a worker at a pet store
a treat creator to sell to people with animals
an Accessory Designer
a volunteer for the spca or other organization
the poopie cleaner at the spca
you can work at a zoo
you can be a tour guide for children for a place with animals…

i dont know how u could be paid or how much schooling,it is on a case to case basis and most of this stuff is a private type thing that you could do on your own (if u are younger… or not…).

and that all i can think of… i hope u found this helpful!!!

Search Engines Algorithms and relevant content

Well known search engines such as Google rank websites according to complex algorithms which are designed to determine which websites are most relevant for particular search terms. Therefore taking the time and effort to optimize your website for relevant search terms may result in you being rewarded with high search engine rankings for these terms. This is important because most Internet users rely heavily on these rankings. It is not uncommon for Internet users to only review the first few results when they search for a particular term. This means if your website ranks high enough to appear on the first page of the search results you will likely enjoy increased website traffic. However, if your website doesnít make it to the first page or even the second page, it is unlikely you will receive a great deal of website traffic from visitors who use search engines. So how does someone get their website to rank on the first page of google, you have to learn how to use a good SEO methodology to do this and Niche Blueprint teaches this on one of their modules. Again I will mention that this blueprint will be released in the updated version on January 11, 2010 and I am one who is in line to acquire this as I am certain that I need more help in learning how to market my eccommerce website better.
